Tantalum tube is a tubular material made of tantalum metal. This kind of pipe usually has the unique properties of tantalum, such as high melting point, thermal stability and excellent corrosion resistance, and is widely used in the manufacture of reaction vessels, heat exchangers, pipes, condensers, etc.
Product Specifications
Outer Diameter | ≥1.0mm |
Wall Thickness | ≥0.23mm |
Length | 200mm-6000mm |
Type | Seamless Tube, Wlded Tube |
Production Method
Welded tube is made by crimping tantalum plates or tantalum strips and then welding them. The welding process can use different welding methods such as TIG (Tig Welding) or arc welding.
Seams
Welded pipes often have weld seams resulting from the welding of tantalum plates or strips during preparation.
Applications
Tantalum welded pipe is used in some less stringent applications and is suitable for general chemical, electronic and other industrial fields.
Production Method
Seamless pipes are made by heating the tantalum billet to a sufficient temperature and then penetrating or extruding it, so that welds can be avoided.
Seamlessness
Seamless tubes have no obvious seams along their entire length, which makes their internal structure more uniform.
Applications
Tantalum seamless tubes are commonly used in applications that require high material purity and structural uniformity, such as semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace and medical device manufacturing.
