The titanium bar as per AMS4928 has excellent strength, low modulus of elasticity, high corrosion resistance, good weldability and it is heat treatable. It containing 4% vanadium and 6% aluminum (Ti 6Al-4V), it is mainly used extensively in aerospace applications.
