The Project: Baoji Titanium Valley Titanium, Nickel, and Zirconium Production Line – 2024
The China Titanium Valley Titanium, Nickel, and Zirconium Production Line Project is progressing rapidly with a total investment of nearly 500 million yuan.
Located in the Baoji High-Tech Zone’s Titanium and New Materials Industrial Park, the project focuses on providing high-end titanium, nickel, zirconium foil, and TiNi memory alloy materials for defense, military, and new energy sectors.
Since the project’s launch in March this year, over 100 workers have been working tirelessly on-site each day, striving for an early production launch. With the strong support of the relevant departments in the High-Tech Zone, the project has overcome various challenges and is now set to start production ahead of schedule.
Project Investment and Processing Capacity
The project consists of two production lines, one for titanium and titanium alloy foil and sheet, and the other for titanium and titanium alloy bars and wires. The lamina di titanio production line has an investment of 220 million yuan and will primarily produce high-end titanium and titanium alloy sheet and foil. Once in operation, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 789 million yuan. The bar and wire rolling production line, with an investment of 250 million yuan, is projected to yield an annual output value of 800 million yuan.
According to the company’s representative, the foil production line uses advanced technology and equipment capable of producing foil with a width of 750mm and a thickness of just 0.02mm, which is highly competitive in the market.
Additionally, the production line is highly automated, with an automation rate of over 90%, significantly improving production efficiency and product quality.
The early launch of this production line not only showcases Baoji’s strength in high-end materials manufacturing but also positions the company for a stronger competitive edge in the future market.
